Where the gallbladder is, in 3D
The gallbladder is a pouch under the liver that stores the bile the liver makes. It belongs to the digestive system. It is a pear-shaped sac in a hollow on the underside of the liver, about 7 to 10 cm long, with a fundus, body and neck. Its cystic duct joins the common hepatic duct to form the common bile duct.
