Where the duodenum is, in 3D

The duodenum is the first part of the small intestine, right after the stomach, where pancreatic juice and bile enter. It is part of the small intestine and belongs to the digestive system. It curves in a C shape around the head of the pancreas and is about 25 cm long. It has four parts (superior, descending, horizontal and ascending), and the bile duct and pancreatic duct open at the major duodenal papilla in the descending part.
