Are all diabetic foot papers included?
No. Included studies directly measured glucose, HbA1c, insulin, lipids or related variables alongside hyperbaric oxygen exposure. Papers recording only wounds or amputation, or presenting glucose only as a baseline characteristic, were excluded.
Do all papers use the same oxygen conditions?
No. Pressure, oxygen concentration, exposure duration and session counts differ. Some studies compare hyperbaric air or combine exposure with stem cells or medication. Individual summaries identify these conditions.
Which years and how many papers are included?
There are 40 human papers without a lower year limit and 5 animal or cell papers from 2024 onward. The 7 reviews are shown separately. Paper counts do not represent unique participants.
